The Governor of Attica, speaking at the Greece Talks conference, stated that his goal is for the Basin to emerge as a permanent destination for residence – Special mention to the Metropolitan Park “Aenaon”. "We don't want our Attica to be the beginning, but the final destination of every visitor". The Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias , referred to the strategy followed by the Attica Region, in order to make the Basin a stable destination for accommodation in terms of sustainable development for visitors from all corners of the planet. At the same time, he spoke about the multiple benefits that will arise from the creation of the new Metropolitan Park "Aenaon" in Faliro Bay, which will be the largest urban regeneration in Greece. We seek to increase the average stay of visitors, strengthen the local economy in all of our 66 Municipalities, strengthen small and medium-sized businesses and increase jobs. We give tourists a series of reasons to stay in Attica for at least an extra day.
