The 3 Concepts That Define the New Era of Tourism
Within the framework of the international exhibition World Travel Market London 2025, discussions focused, among other things, on three key concepts that are reshaping global tourism: Inclusion, artificial intelligence and sustainability.
In particular, the Inclusion and Equality Conference (DEAI Summit) highlighted the social, cultural and business challenges that accompany this new reality.
Among the countries that presented examples of inclusive policies, Thailand highlighted the new opportunities that arise after the legalization of same-sex marriage, while Malta, already a friendly destination for the LGBTQ+ community, is collaborating with universities for further studies. Iceland’s Tourism Minister Hanna Katrín Friðriksson referred to this year’s “Women’s Day Off,” which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the historic 1975 strike, noting that even disagreement can serve as a catalyst for progress towards equality.
