Tatoi Royal Estate
Strategic Revitalization of the Tatoi Estate into a Premier Cultural and Tourism Hub
The Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations has launched a landmark international tender for the long term lease and comprehensive redevelopment of the former Royal Estate at Tatoi. This strategic initiative involves the restoration of twenty four historic buildings and their surrounding landscapes, transforming the site into a multifaceted destination that balances heritage preservation with modern commercial viability. The proposed master plan integrates high end hospitality with agricultural and cultural experiences, positioning the estate as a cornerstone of sustainable regional development.
Key components of the project include the conversion of historical structures into luxury boutique hotels and guesthouses, alongside premium dining establishments situated within repurposed stables and staff quarters. A significant emphasis is placed on reviving the estate’s agricultural legacy through visitable farming operations, organic production, and artisanal retail spaces. By revitalizing approximately 15,000 square meters of building space, the project aims to create a cohesive ecosystem that offers educational, recreational, and gastronomic value. This ambitious restoration not only safeguards the architectural integrity of a national landmark but also introduces a sophisticated model for public private partnerships in the management of cultural assets, ensuring the estate becomes a self sustaining engine for tourism and environmental conservation.
